I have never had a blog before. Those are my opening words. My life has been a journey of wanting to find ways of keeping old information alive while being able to figure out how to live more self sustainable.
Struewe Farms is my fiance’s family farm. They row crop corn and beans. There has been nearly every type of farm animal here at some point. Cattle, hogs and chickens. Row cropping has been what they have done consistently for decades.
Matt, my fiancee, is celebrating 5 years of owning is own farm implement business. Even as I write, he is out delivering four new pieces to Basehor, Kansas. He has operated here on the farm and has made many customers happy over the years.
I started my own business last year. I work in legal and am trying to continue to sustain and build that prospect as I dabble in my homesteading antics. My end goal as an entrepreneur has always been to find a way to make a living from home. In the beginning, be prepared to sacrifice a lot of time and money…
